    If you zoom the map after starting, all the towns you have already guessed correctly reappear.

      ah, this is a mapquest bug i forgot to fix on this quiz…fixed now.

    Looks like Middlesboro, KY (pop. 10,334) in far southeast Kentucky (on the Ten./Va. border) is spelled wrong.

    A few errors in Pennsylvania. Oxford is mistakenly placed in Adams County, though it’s actually in Chester. Mount Joy is also placed incorrectly – it’s actually in Lancaster. Grove City is improperly positioned in its county. And Northampton is incorrectly placed in Bucks County, when it’s actually in Northampton County.

      fixing these coordinates in my database now – thanks – and they won’t appear fixed on this particular quiz until it is upgraded to Google Maps, which shouldn’t be long.
