6/28/2017 – Ads and Google surveys are gone! Hopefully not to return…also I’m migrating to HTTPS so that should fix some location-based geo quizzes. High scores may not work properly during this process, shouldn’t take more than a day or two.

For some reason I can only see 195 dots (and that includes both Brazzaville and Kinshasa). I got those 195 in 148.8k km but can’t finish the quiz.

Is Nuku’alofa and Apia supposed to be on that side of the map? The only way I can access them is by joining them to South America which adds ~12,000 to my score. It used to be different before the dots were implemented.

Nevermind I figured it out. If anyone else has this problem connect the dots as you usually would, the line will go all the way across the map and back but only use about 2,000kms.

Yes, it’s a well known bug since MapQuest maps replaced Google ones. Hawaii and French Polynesia will always show up on the left side of the map too like on the Oceania largest cities quiz. On this particular quiz it’s a bit tricky because the lines that are/aren’t drawn but as you’ve said, the distances are correctly calculated.
