Challenge The King #15 – US 2nd Largest City Grid

Can you beat Geography King? The King himself takes this quiz one time and your job is to beat his score!

The object of this quiz is to name the SECOND largest US city by population in each grid square. A city is in the square if the centroid of the city lies there – so it’s as if the entire city and its population is at the centroid.

To answer a city, click on the grid square you are answering and type in the city name and state abbreviation followed by a ‘.’ (period). For example, to answer Chicago, IL type ‘chicagoil.’ – when you answer you will see a score based on how big your city’s population was to the SECOND LARGEST in the square (out of 100 – if you chose the largest it’s the percent ratio of the 2nd largest to your choice) and also Geography King’s answer and score. If only one city exists in the square, answer that city for full points.

AK and HI are not included on this quiz.
