Begin by naming an NCAA Division I school - see naming notes below - that school will appear as a pink marker. Then, the 50 closest D-I schools to that school will appear. Try to name as many as possible. Hover over the markers to see the school's conference. Naming notes: I tried to use the most common name for choosing the school to begin with – only ONE name is accepted initially to choose a school, but many alternatives are accepted once you begin naming other schools for the quiz. Some longer schools use an abbreviation, i.e. ‘BYU’, ‘IUPUI’ and ‘NJIT’ – the main state school will be just the state name, i.e. ‘Wisconsin.’ or ‘North Carolina.’ – note you may have to enter the period at the end for many of these to prevent answering it when trying other state schools at different locations, which are answered in the format ‘State Location’ i.e. ‘Wisconsin Green Bay’…some other naming conventions include ‘Cal State Bakersfield’ and ‘SUNY Albany’ for examples of CA & NY state schools. ‘St Francis’ is the name of two schools – ‘St Francis PA’ and ‘St Francis NY’ are the formats for those. You will be shown a map with red markers for all NCAA Division 1 Schools. Double-click on the one specified to answer it. If you click on the correct school, the marker will turn green. Otherwise no change will be made to the markers. 50 randomly chosen schools will be given.

The faster you answer, the more points you get. This quiz cannot be paused.

Do not enter long names such as 'University of' or 'College of' - simply the school name or if it's a state school with multiple locations typically the location will suffice. Some common school abbreviations are accepted but many are not as the abbreviation may be shown in the logo.

You get 5 minutes to identify as many NCAA D-I schools (perhaps transitioning to another division, or D-I in only one sport) as you can from their logo. Upon clicking start, you will be given a school's name on top of the table of 25 logos. Double-click on that school's logo to choose it. If you guess correctly, it will add toward your total and that logo will be removed and the logos will shift with a new one being added in the bottom right. If you guess incorrectly, you are penalized 5 seconds and the logo you click on is still removed and the logos shift with a new one being added.

Name the nicknames of all NCAA D-I schools. Nicknames must be entered as they are officially known as - DO NOT use the women's team nicknames if they have a slightly different nickname. Names must be entered exactly as they are for the school, so abbreviations, variations of the official nickname, etc are not accepted.

For each NCAA Division I school, name the city it is located in (the main campus's mailing address typically). Occasionally a school may be in an unincorporated area but have a mailing address in an incorporated location, you are to name the incorporated location. Some schools have a mailing address in one location and main campus within another, each location will work for these. Schools whose full name is included as part of the name of the school are not included in this quiz.
