The site has been up almost a week now and things are going pretty smoothly – I’m still fixing a few small issues, so here’s a quick run-down of things you all should be aware of:
- The ‘High Scores’ widget on the right of the page on each individual quiz does not update in real-time – it updates every hour or two to keep strain on the database to a minimum. So if you get a new high score and immediately reload the quiz you probably won’t yet see it listed.
- I’m working on an issue with stats not appearing for quizzes with very large data sets – i.e. well over 1000 answers. Hopefully I will be able to resolve this – it’s a matter of the script timing out due to the amount of data being updated.
- Please do not use the quiz comments section to report quiz bugs/issues – I will in general not be reading comments so may never see what needs fixing – use the Contact form instead.
