World 50K+ Cities Blackout
DirectionsFill in the 25 squares with World 50K+ cities based on the categories in the top row and the geographical location given in the cell. For example, if you are looking at a cell with ‘Europe’ in its row, and ‘2+ Words’ in the column, that cell can be filled in with ‘The Hague.’
Occasionally a cell may not have a qualifying answer, in which case it will appear blank and be a gimme.
For the ‘capital city’ column use the administrative capital if the country has multiple capitals.

Vasco da Gama is not listed as a 2+ word city in India. It is, it’s the largest city in Goa, 100,000 people.

Hmm – I’ve been to Vasco da Gama and I would disagree. Wikipedia has them both down as different cities too. Vasco da Gama is actually the capital city of Goa. However, it’s your game so up to you 🙂 (and it’s a fantastic game, no complaints – just suggestions!)
yeah i stick to my source for counting and naming populations as they go by the censuses – Wikipedia is not a good source in general. otherwise I have to compare numbers and results from different sources which doesn’t work well 🙂
Shouldn’t technically all three capital cities work for South Africa (ie Bloemfontein and Cape Town *as well as* Pretoria)?
for my capital cities quizzes I just use administrative for capitals, so wanted to keep it consistent for this one as well.

very good concept, please do more. This site regarding geography quizzes is really something different, so awesome, entertaining and original quiz ideas, run by one guy. Unlike sporcle where ninety percent of geo quizzes are super boring and they ban you for saying that palestine does not exist. To be brutally honest, I am a selfish person, I will never buy hugequiz premium. Also, I come from a poor country. But others, if you have coins to spare, as I see what premium offers, I highly encourage you to purchase. Darin, thank you
