The object of this quiz is to name to closest Italy 5K+ city to each purple marker that appears. When you begin the quiz you will be placed in a random location in Italy (might be over a body of water, but won’t be over an ocean) which will be denoted by a purple marker. Name the closest 5K+ Italy city to this marker by typing in the city name followed by a ‘.’ (period). You will then be given a score up to 100 (100 being the closest 5K+ city) based on how far away your city is in relation to how far away the closest one is. You get 25 cities for a maximum of 2500 points. If you name a city that has the same name as another possible answer, don’t worry – the closest city of that name will be chosen.

UK Circle Radius Population Challenge

The object of this quiz is to adjust each circle's radius so it contains the target population shown at the right. When you click Start you will be shown a marker on a random UK output area (there are over 200K output areas - also called Data Zones in Scotland and N Ireland - across the UK, the smallest census tabulation area). Also you will see an adjustable circle of radius 100 km to start. Adjust the circle's radius by dragging it until it contains the target number of people shown - this target will be between 25K and 5 million people. Then click submit. You are scored on how close your circle's population is to the target. Circle population is tallied by totaling all output areas within that circle.
