First choose a difficulty by typing ‘beg’, ‘int’, ‘adv, or ‘exp’ – Beginner is 100 cities, Intermediate 50 cities, Advanced 25 cities, and Expert 10 cities. Then, enter any Europe 10K+ place with 2+ words and the closest N places (where N is the number based on your difficulty) that also have 2+ words automatically fill in. 2+ words for the purpose of this quiz mean any cities with a space or hyphen.

Then, try to name the LARGEST European city in each grid square which fits the category label for each square. To name a city, you must first click on the grid square to make it have a GREEN border. UK Circle Radius Population Challenge

The object of this quiz is to adjust each circle's radius so it contains the target population shown at the right. When you click Start you will be shown a marker on a random UK output area (there are over 200K output areas - also called Data Zones in Scotland and N Ireland - across the UK, the smallest census tabulation area). Also you will see an adjustable circle of radius 100 km to start. Adjust the circle's radius by dragging it until it contains the target number of people shown - this target will be between 25K and 5 million people. Then click submit. You are scored on how close your circle's population is to the target. Circle population is tallied by totaling all output areas within that circle.

NOTE - This quiz does NOT include any people in Ireland or other countries outside the UK, you are only trying to total the target number of people within the UK.
