Directions

First choose a difficulty by typing ‘beg’, ‘int’, ‘adv, or ‘exp’ – Beginner is 100km radius, Intermediate 50km, Advanced 25km, and Expert 10km. Then, enter Balkan 10K+ population cities and all other Balkan 10K+ population cities within that radius will automatically fill in. For this quiz, Balkans includes the entire countries of Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia & the European portion of Turkey.

hugequiz Premium members will see the 25 largest missed cities at the end of the quiz as large, purple markers.

Premium members can now also play a 3-hour time limit ‘custom’ coverage quiz of any distance from 5km to 200km, simply enter the distance followed by a ‘.’ instead of choosing from one of the four levels, i.e. ’35.’ Quiz score is not recorded for the custom coverage option.

2+ WORDS means the city name has 2 or more words (words denoted by a space or hyphen).

What spelling convention are you using for Greek transliteration? Mitilini, Chalkida, Lefkada and Rhodos must surely be on here, but I can’t seem to get them to work.

Mytilene, Chalcis, Rhodes – town of Lefkada doesn’t have 10K people.
