Brazil City Random Grid Challenge

Directions

Choose a number of cities by typing ‘3’, ‘5’, or ’10’. A random 5-degree by 5-degree grid will be placed on the map. Enter the largest number of cities you chose in each square. Only green squares contain answers. When you have 2 left to go in a square it will fill in faintly yellow, 1 left it will be orangish, and all done it turns red. A time bonus is given for completing a square (it is greater for higher levels).

For example, if you choose ‘3’ for your number of cities to start the quiz, only the 3 largest cities in each grid square will be accepted as answers.

hugequiz Premium members will see the top 25 missed cities at the end of the quiz as purple markers.

Enter '3', '5', or '10' to begin.

For some reason this quiz is using the populations of “municipal districts” from citypopulation instead of the usual cities. Please fix this.

These population figures have a lot of large cities split into smaller districts, which aren’t cities and don’t count on most quizzes. For example, Serra in Espirito Santo, which is the largest city in the state with a population of over 500K, in this quiz has a population of 146K because most of it has been split off into the district of “Carapina” which has over 300K population. I think it would be better if these figures are only used for quizzes where the population numbers don’t matter, such as coverage quizzes.
