Europe 100 Km 50-Circle Coverage Challenge

Directions

You start with a blank map. Double-click on the map to create a circle of 100km radius centered on that location. All Europe 10K+ cities within 100km of that circle will appear and count toward your total cities. The object is to cover as many cities as possible in 50 circles. You can click within an already-created circle as well, however you may have to zoom in slightly so you aren’t clicking on an existing city marker.

Europe City Grid 3rd Largest City Challenge

Type 'easy' or 'hard' to begin the quiz. Easy is a 5-degree grid, hard is a 2.5-degree grid. Then, try to name the THIRD LARGEST European city in each grid square. To name a city, you must first click on the grid square to make it have a GREEN border. Then, type in the city answer for that square followed by a '.' (a period). You are given a score from 0 to 100 based on your answer's population compared to the 3nd largest city accepted in that square (100 being you named the 3nd largest city). If you guess the largest city it will be based on the ratio of the 3nd largest city's population to the largest.

At the end of the quiz the 3nd largest city will show in each unanswered square, and for those answered the 3nd largest city will be listed next to your score if you didn't answer it.

Europe Countries & US States Max Elevation Sorting Challenge

You begin with two Europe countries/US states shown in the grid. Upon starting, your job is to sort the countries/states in order from largest to smallest by max elevation (so countries/states with the highest max elevation first). The order is represented by the '1st' thru '16th' in each box. You can click on a country/state to move it to a higher position in the list - simply click once and it will turn red, then clicked another higher-ranked country/state to position the first country/state before it. Click submit to check your answers...if they are in order you will get a new country/state added to the end which needs to be positioned correctly, and so on until you either get one wrong or complete all 15 levels.

PLEASE NOTE: Only the portions of each country geographically in Europe are counted to determine the highest points. So no Asian portion of Turkey/Russia, African portion of Spain/Portugal, Greenland, etc.

how so? if time runs out you can’t use all the circles. and if you use all the circles the quiz ends too.
