Europe 10K+ Cities Blackout
DirectionsFill in the 25 squares with Europe 10K+ cities based on the categories in the top row and the geographical location given in the cell. For example, if you are looking at a cell with ‘Netherlands’ in its row, and ‘2+ Words’ in the column, that cell can be filled in with ‘The Hague.’
Occasionally a cell may not have a qualifying answer, in which case it will appear blank and be a gimme.
For this quiz, Balkans includes the entire countries of Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia & the European portion of Turkey. Nordic refers to Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

Ohhh I came close. Cascais not listed as a Portuguese city? Yeah, I know I could’ve done Coimbra but in those 2.5 minutes all I could think of was Cascais and how to spell it. I was spelling it correctly, and it is a town of 214,000 people, but I guess it’s been all assumed under “Lisbon” as it has kind of taken it over as part of the city (even though it is a different town in its own right). I’ll get there in the end. This is a genius game, by the way.
as a locality its population is just under 10k so it doesn’t qualify
Of all the games you’ve made, I think this is the best. 🙂 It’s very addictive and I really want to get full marks.
(by the way, I wanted to add it to “Favourites” on the heart icon, but I just get a ball spinning round. I use Microsoft Edge, if that helps narrow things down)

It’s the third biggest browser. I quite like it. It could be something that you might want to look into, to see why the Favourite doesn’t work in Edge. Don’t do it for me, I’ve bookmarked it once I saw I couldn’t use the heart icon, but you may want to do it for the other Edge users out there. 🙂

good idea but it would be better if you could make the highscores unique for each grid (not sure if that’s possible to do tho)
there are like millions of possible grids so yeah not really feasible. so yeah high scores are regardless of grid and I wouldn’t really focus on them too much for this.
