Europe 10K+ Population Radius Coverage
DirectionsFirst choose a difficulty by typing ‘beg’, ‘int’, ‘adv, or ‘exp’. Then, enter 10K+ population cities and all 10K+ population cities within a radius based on the population of the city you guessed will fill in. When you have at least 25 countries, the countries remaining will be shown. In other words, a large city will have a bit larger radius to cover other cities than a smaller city would.
A higher difficulty level means smaller circles, but still in the same size proportion to each other based on populations.
hugequiz Premium members will see the 25 largest missed cities at the end of the quiz as large, purple markers.
There is also the option to play a 3-hour (basically untimed) version of each level. Simply enter a ‘u’ before a level choice to play a 3-hour version, for example ‘ubeg’ or ‘uadv’ – your score will not be saved for these.
The “ubeg” 3 hour option also works for non premium members. But I’m not complaining.
Ahh these four (population radius quizzes) anyone can use that feature.

for some reason i try typing in the city brive-la-gaillarde in france with 40 thousand population and it doesnt register it Can you add the town?
It fills in just by typing ‘Brive’
oh ok thx
Is this supposed to be so difficult? On expert I was only able to complete Andorra, Monaco, and San Marino (I think I was one short of Iceland), and I got all but two of the top 100 biggest cities (they were 500-750K). The beginner difficulty also feels like it should be int/adv, too, so it’s not just an expert thing.
Despite the glaring difficulty issue, I really enjoyed the quiz.
yep it’s harder, if I make the factor of circle sizes any larger on beginner they really start to swallow up much larger areas
