Directions

Choose a country and level from the drop-down list by typing in a country name. Level 1 is easier, with a 1 degree grid. Level 2 has a 0.5 degree grid. Then name the largest 10K+ place in each grid square. Areas which are blank do not contain a place that qualifies (no places of 10K population). You get more time for countries/levels with more answers. Any country with more than one 10K+ city is included in this quiz.

There is a time bonus added for each square completed as well.

POPULATION RANGE: (such as 250-500K) means the city has that range for its population.
2+ WORDS means the city name has 2 or more words (words denoted by a space or hyphen).

At the end of the quiz the largest population missed answer will show in each range.

btw can you add some clue so that we know when there is an empty square in the middle of the grid surrounded by non-empty squares from every side? like currently it’s impossible to determine whether an empty square contains an answer or not if it’s not adjacent to another empty square
