First choose the number of cities by typing ‘100’, ‘250’, '500', '1k' or 'all' – then try to achieve the highest population among the largest English cities (min 500 population) you chose. Quiz is not timed.
hugequiz Premium users have the option to choose any number of cities to play the quiz with (stats are processed but score isn't saved). Simply enter #(number of cities)# to play the quiz with any number of cities from 25 to the maximum. For example, to play the 300 largest cities, type #300# to begin the quiz and you will play it with the 300 largest cities. Entering #all# will play it with all cities - all cities will also be chosen for any number chosen above the total.

maybe its me but the percentage counter seems off (15 top cities +germany+uk only gives 5%) and the ‘finished country counter’ stays on 0.

I see Arnavutköy showing up in the European quizzes now. Isn’t that part of Istanbul?
Per citypopulation.de it is considered a separate city.
Huh, well that’s new. Feels like an error based on information elsewhere online, but can’t argue with the source 🙂
Though I do wonder what they mean by “The 2017 and 2022 population figures of cities in municipal provinces are calculated summarizing the population of selected neighborhoods.” – Makes it sound like citypop.de calculated the results on their own.

One minor issue: the Top Cities counter has a bug as I suddenly jumped to 344 on a 130 cities quiz. And a minor detail… didn’t Kosovo use to have a border?
if you can recreate the Top Cities bug let me know what city you typed in to jump to 344 – i’m not seeing anything wrong. Kosovo doesn’t have an outline for itself on the quizzes where you can zoom in all the way.
Some of the smaller countries don’t show up in the list at the bottom, and they didn’t seem to update in the city counter right away. Also, some of the Belgian cities, such as Antwerp, don’t look like they have the correct coordinates. I really like this quiz and the US version; don’t know how I missed them before now. Would be cool to have a World version plus ones for other continents too.

ok added Malta and Andorra’s entries in the bottom rows. Belgium is fixed.
Weird. For the top 3 cities, my counter stopped at 113, but my score was nonetheless correctly saved with 116.
i’m going to remove the stats feature til i can get it working properly for this and the us version.
Why are the shapes of Lebanon, West Bank and Gaza included when they aren’t in Europe? And something is definitely up with the 50 hardest and 50 missed and the percentages. For example, I fail to believe 93.33% of people knew Vlore yet only 86.66% got Amsterdam.
For some reason, the outlines of the countries you mentioned are always included in the Europe quizzes. The statistics issue is weird though. Never heard of Vlore 🙂
On the other hand, Kosovo’s borders aren’t there. I think you gotta ask Mapquest about it. The 50 hardest/missed lists are definitely broken.
There’s something up with the “50 missed” and “50 hardest” on this one – “50 missed” only shows me ones which I DID get, and “50 hardest” mixes up some of the ones I did get with some which I didn’t.
