Select a difficulty level: ‘beg’ ‘int’ ‘adv’ or ‘exp’ signifying Beginner Intermediate Advanced and Expert respectively. The degree of difficulty correlates with the size of the grid square – 1 0.5 0.25 and 0.1 respectively. Your task is to identify the largest city (with a population over 1K) in each grid square. Green squares indicate correct answers. Note Advanced and Expert levels may take a while to load. This quiz only covers UK/Ireland mainland and crown dependencies.

Europe Circle Max Population Challenge

Upon clicking START you will be shown 5 circles, one at a time, with increasing radii: 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 km. The object is to move the circle to the location such that it covers the most amount of people, based on Europe population density data. Poland City Grid 2nd Largest City Challenge

Type 'easy' or 'hard' to begin the quiz. Easy is a 2-degree grid, hard is a 1-degree grid. Then, try to name the SECOND LARGEST Poland city in each grid square. To name a city, you must first click on the grid square to make it have a GREEN border. Then, type in the city answer for that square followed by a '.' (a period). You are given a score from 0 to 100 based on your answer's population compared to the 2nd largest city accepted in that square (100 being you named the 2nd largest city). If you guess the largest city it will be based on the ratio of the 2nd largest city's population to the largest.

At the end of the quiz the 2nd largest city will show in each unanswered square, and for those answered the 2nd largest city will be listed next to your score if you didn't answer it.
