First name one of the 22 US Interstate highways of at least 500 miles (I5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 29, 35, 40, 44, 55, 64, 65, 70, 75, 77, 80, 81, 84, 85, 90, 94, or 95) by typing I + the number + “.” (so to choose I-35, type “I35.”). Then, name the cities of at least 10K people on that interstate. To be on the interstate I used the following requirements: 10K-25K: within 2.5 miles, 25K-100K within 5 miles, 100K+ within 10 miles. I used the coordinate of the city I use for all my quizzes, which is the geographic center. Cities listed west-to-east for even-numbered highways, and north-to-south for odd-numbered.

I would suggest adding one larger grouping for cities of 500k and larger. Los Angeles does not register for I-5, New York does not register for I-80, and Boston does not register for I-95 (although that city does not intersect I-95, it is within a mile). Perhaps 15 miles as that would keep I-80 from showing up for Chicago. Also I couldn’t get Janesville, WI to work for I-90 even though its geographic center should be well within range.

i’ll fix Janesville..i’ll manually add those large cities and any others found that should be there..have already calculated using the conditions I had and it’s faster to just add any manually now.

I-69 is really close to 500 miles by now, if not over 500 miles, what with the new mileage in Texas, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Can we have extra time more often? Right now, there’s no extra time after 100 cities or any other number, just 50. This is fine for shorter roads, but kills you on a road like I95

The cities around Boston are so small in area that they’re all coming up for I-90. I-90, however, doesn’t enter Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Everett, Malden, Revere, etc even though they are within 5 miles of the highway. It’s become basically name any city around Boston. In the urban area around Boston, I-90 only goes through Boston, Brookline, and Newton.

Yakima, WA on the I-80 list when I-80 comes nowhere near Washington.
