Question: Should the Women’s National Basketball Association, also known as the WNBA, be added to this quiz?
However much revenue or whatever MLS generates (and judging by its apparent major expansion based on this map, it must be doing ok) the major leagues are generally considered the big 4 – MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA. If you include MLS and the CFL (which also seems to have a couple teams since I last followed it) you may as well go all the way and add the WNBA.
And to support this point, I’ll just say that I am in the Chicago area and the local coverage of the WNBA team is at least equal to that of the MLS team. They’re on equal standing in the city. And it’s not a high standing.
The Pistons moved downtown to Little Caesar’s Arena (which is stupid in my opinion as The Palace of Auburn Hills was less than 30 years old and had plenty of life left in it!)
My complete lack of soccer awareness foils me again.
