UK 1K+ City Coverage (Premium Only)
DirectionsFirst choose a difficulty by typing ‘beg’, ‘int’, ‘adv, or ‘exp’ – Beginner is 50km radius, Intermediate 25km, Advanced 10km, and Expert 5km. Then, enter 1K+ population UK cities and all 1K+ population cities within that radius will automatically fill in.
hugequiz Premium members will see the 25 largest missed cities at the end of the quiz as large, purple markers – you can mouseover them to see city details for each.
NOTICE – As with the Europe coverage quiz I have to make this quiz for Premium members only (the map won’t display if you aren’t) due to a Geowizard video. The Google Maps usage was costs quite a bit when he makes a video and this quiz would get well over 10K plays per day – check back in the near future and it should be available to all again. There are tons of free UK-based quizzes available however, from Premier League to other Europe-based Map Quizzes.
how often does the hiscores table update?
should be live – if you finish a quiz you will have to refresh the page to see the updated scores with your most recent one in them.
with the release of Geowizard’s video of this quiz I’ve had to make it Premium only to cover the costs for Google Maps API – consider becoming a member for all the benefits, or check back in a few weeks and it should be available to all again – thanks! 🙂
