UK 1K+ City Random Grid Challenge

Directions

Choose a number of cities by typing ‘3’, ‘5’, or ’10’. A random 1-degree by 1-degree grid will be placed on the map. Enter the largest number of 1K+ cities you chose in each square. Only green squares contain answers. When you have 2 left to go in a square it will fill in faintly yellow, 1 left it will be orangish, and all done it turns red. A time bonus is given for completing a square (it is greater for higher levels).

For example, if you choose ‘3’ for your number of cities to start the quiz, only the 3 largest 1K+ cities in each grid square will be accepted as answers.

UK Circle Radius Population Challenge

The object of this quiz is to adjust each circle's radius so it contains the target population shown at the right. When you click Start you will be shown a marker on a random UK output area (there are over 200K output areas - also called Data Zones in Scotland and N Ireland - across the UK, the smallest census tabulation area). LETTER: means the city starts with that letter.
NUMBER RANGE: (such as 2-5, 10+) means the city contains that many letters (excluding spaces and special characters).
POPULATION RANGE: (such as 250-500K) means the city has that range for its population.
2+ WORDS means the city name has 2 or more words (words denoted by a space or hyphen).

At the end of the quiz the largest population missed answer will show in each range.
