First type in any state abbreviation to choose that state – i.e. ‘NY’ – then you will see the map zoomed on that state and all US Census Places with their Census boundaries. Name all the places. These include cities, towns, villages, etc AND CDP’s, anything defined as a Place by the US Census.

A note: if one place is completely contained within another and you name the larger place, the interior place will also shade in, but you still will need to name it. This is rare but I don’t have a way around it.

Would it be possible to create a quiz that allows you to name all of them without having to go by state?
