Type 'easy' or 'hard' to begin the quiz. Easy is a 5-degree grid, hard is a 2.5-degree grid. Then, try to name the THIRD LARGEST city in each grid square. To name a city, you must first click on the grid square to make it have a GREEN border. Then, type in the city answer for that square followed by a '.' (a period). You are given a score from 0 to 100 based on your answer's population compared to the 3rd largest city accepted in that square (100 being you named the 3rd largest city). Click submit to check your answers...if they are in order you will get a new state added to the end which needs to be positioned correctly, and so on until you either get one wrong or complete all 15 levels.

It’s there – you may not have chosen enough cities to start with for it to qualify? But it’s there when you choose ‘all’ for sure.

Needs a judgment call on cities like North, SC and West, TX, where the directional word IS the name of the city.
