Western Europe 10K+ City Coverage

Directions

First choose a difficulty by typing ‘beg’, ‘int’, ‘adv, or ‘exp’ – Beginner is 100km radius, Intermediate 50km, Advanced 25km, and Expert 10km. Then, enter Western European 10K+ cities and all other Western European 10K+ cities within that radius will automatically fill in. Western Europe defined by UN Statistical Division – includes Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands and Switzerland.

hugequiz Premium members will see the 25 largest missed cities at the end of the quiz as large, purple markers.

Premium members can now also play a 3-hour time limit ‘custom’ coverage quiz of any distance from 5km to 200km, simply enter the distance followed by a ‘.’ instead of choosing from one of the four levels, i.e. ’35.’ Quiz score is not recorded for the custom coverage option.

UK Circle Radius Population Challenge

The object of this quiz is to adjust each circle's radius so it contains the target population shown at the right. When you click Start you will be shown a marker on a random UK output area (there are over 200K output areas - also called Data Zones in Scotland and N Ireland - across the UK, the smallest census tabulation area). Also you will see an adjustable circle of radius 100 km to start. Adjust the circle's radius by dragging it until it contains the target number of people shown - this target will be between 25K and 5 million people. Then click submit. POPULATION RANGE: (such as 250-500K) means the city has that range for its population.
2+ WORDS means the city name has 2 or more words (words denoted by a space or hyphen).

At the end of the quiz the largest population missed answer will show in each range.

The descriptioni reads that Liechtenstein is included, but in the game it is not.

well it is included as part of western Europe but doesn’t have any 10k+ cities so no answers for it
