The object of this quiz is to pick a world 1M+ agglomeration to start, then name successive 1M+ agglomerations such that the next agglo’s first letter is the last letter of the current agglo and the next agglo is as close to the current agglo as possible. On this quiz alternates are generally accepted, however only the main (usually official) name is counted as it relates to naming the next agglo. Agglomerations of the same name will answer the closest one first. NOTE: You must type a ‘.’ (period) after the agglo name to submit it. The same agglo cannot be used twice in this quiz.

For example, you start with ‘Paris’ – you are now trying to name a city starting with ‘S’ (the last letter of ‘Paris’) which is closest to Paris. If you answer ‘Sevilla’ – now you are trying to name the closest 1M+ agglo to Sevilla which starts with a ‘A’ and so on.

The quiz ends at the 25th agglo from the starting one. You get 100 points for naming the closest agglo on each step, and they decline based on the distance your agglo was from the closest. You get 15 minutes to complete the quiz.
