World 50K+ Latitude Coverage Challenge
DirectionsFirst choose a difficulty by typing ‘beg’, ‘int’, ‘adv, or ‘exp’ – Beginner is 2 degrees latitude, Intermediate 1 degrees, Advanced 0.5 degrees, and Expert 0.25 degrees. Then, enter 50K+ population cities and all 50K+ population cities within that latitude will automatically fill in.
HOWEVER – for this quiz you can enter any 50K+ city for your first choice, but successive cities must be already within a blue band for you to answer them, so you must ‘expand’ the blue area in the north and south directions, you can’t start a new blue band with a gap away from a currently blue shaded area.
hugequiz Premium members will see the 25 largest missed cities at the end of the quiz as large, purple markers.

Just added a new batch of cities to the world database today so the total possible went up. I add new qualifying cities as soon as they appear on citypopulation.de

Also, this quiz needs some optimization. I was playing expert, and it was getting extremely choppy after I had entered a few hundred cities to the point I had to open a new tab to type up a comment. Maybe merge the rectangles when they overlap?
