And nothing to do with your quiz, but the list has some very questionable entries. Naismith wasn’t an American citizen until well after he invented basketball. Arnold won all his bodybuilding championships as an Austrian. Hulk Hogan? Where is Geronimo? And finally, a horse?
they aren’t part of the 100 – the Smithsonian published 110 with one extra per category they thought deserved mention – I didn’t include those.
Either “First Woman” doesn’t mean what I assumed it did, or I don’t think Bette Davis should be there…
