Most Common Saint Names For Places
DirectionsName the words following ‘Saint’ which are most commonly used in US place names. Data is from the US Geonames database of place names, which includes cities, towns, schools, parks, churches, etc. Anything beginning with Saint/St/Sainte/Ste/San/Santa was counted. Saint names that are pronounced the same but have different spellings are unique. No need to type in ‘Saint’, etc – just the Saint’s name will do. # of occurrences and first letter shown.
Quiz Takers 
This may be picky, but sometimes santa doesn’t mean saint. Santa is also a Spanish word for holy. So, the cities that translate to holy faith and holy cross aren’t really saint names for places.

Just out of curiosity, any reason why ‘Santa’ names weren’t included? Or did none of them make the list?
