Does the movie have to be based on one specific game to count? If not, then Pixels is missing.

Yeah good point – I’m going to leave as based on a single game, not (video) games as a whole.

Great round. I tried a bunch of fictional games, i.e., things that were games in the movie universe (Tron, Jumanji, The Last Starfighter, Wreck It Ralph), but seems this only counts real life games. “Clue” seems to be one that fits, from 1985, had box office of $14 million.
