Nordic City Coverage Quiz
DirectionsFirst choose a difficulty by typing ‘beg’, ‘int’, ‘adv, or ‘exp’ – Beginner is 200km radius, Intermediate 100km, Advanced 50km, and Expert 25km. Then, enter Nordic cities and all Nordic cities within that radius will automatically fill in. Nordic for the purpose of this quiz means Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Includes Aland Islands and Faroe Islands, but NOT Greenland, Jan Mayen or Svalbard. Cities for the purpose of this quiz means all localities for each country’s census, be they called ‘localities’, ‘settlements’, etc.
hugequiz Premium members will see the 25 largest missed cities at the end of the quiz as large, purple markers.
Premium members can now also play a 3-hour time limit ‘custom’ coverage quiz of any distance from 10km to 500km, simply enter the distance followed by a ‘.’ instead of choosing from one of the four levels, i.e. ‘350.’ Quiz score is not recorded for the custom coverage option.
This quiz does not accept swedish language names for some of the cities in Finland, such as Åbo. While these names are generally accepted in other quizzes on the site.
You can let me know the alternatives and I can add them. They probably aren’t listed as alternatives on the source site I use.

It says in the instructions that Greenland and Svalbard are NOT included but they DO seem to be included.
ahh removing them and adjusting scores now.
why are Espoo and Vantaa counted as part of Helsinki?
i used ‘settlements’ for Finland – am replacing the metro areas like Helsinki though with the cities within, as it was included as one large settlement with multiple cities in it.
these coverage quizzes are so fun, never saw anything like this before, on sporcle for example, but that site sucks anyway
