US Cities Locator Streak Challenge

Directions

The object of this quiz is to locate as many of the top US cities in a row you can without going over the maximum allowable distance away. The max distance allowed is 10 miles for 500K+ cities, 5 miles for 250-500K cities and 2 miles otherwise. Double-click to locate each city in order of population. If you are under the max distance allowed you will move on to the next city. When you double-click farther away than the max distance allowed the quiz will end.

PLEASE NOTE – To identify a city, click on the ‘downtown’ area to avoid clicking on a suburb or outer edge of the city. The distance will generally be measured from close to the center of a city’s ‘downtown.’

You begin with 10 minutes (or 5 for non-Premium members) and get 10 seconds added every time you double-click to locate a city.

Double-click on the location of the city.

it’d be fun if you did this with metro areas so a quarter of the cities aren’t annoying suburbs, just use the downtown of the main city (or the largest one in case of DFW or Twin Cities)

The maximum distance allowed says 2 miles, i was 2 miles away, so why does it say I got out when I was 2 miles away, then should 2 miles away be allowed for you to move on?

It made me very upset about it since the record is 301, by me of course, and I was at 300…..

Is Virginia Beach’s placement correct? It’s on the water when the taller buildings are more inland
