North America Closest 50K+ City Random Location Challenge

The object of this quiz is to name to closest North American 50K+ city to each purple marker that appears. When you begin the quiz you will be placed in a random location in North America which will be denoted by a purple marker. Name the closest 50K+ North American city to this marker by typing in the city name followed by a '.' (period). You will then be given a score up to 100 (100 being the closest 50K+ city) based on how far away your city is in relation to how far away the closest one is. You get 25 cities for a maximum of 2500 points. If you name a city that has the same name as another possible answer, don't worry - the closest city of that name will be chosen.

i use Ventura for that city name in all my quizzes as it is much more commonly used.

Minor nitpick: some of these names (especially Spanish-language ones like San or Santa) don’t refer to saints. Santa Cruz, for instance, doesn’t mean “Saint Cross,” but rather “Sacred Cross,” or as it would more commonly be put in English, “Holy Cross.” Same goes for Santa Fe (Holy Faith).

yeah – i’m gonna change the title of the quiz, i more meant city names with ‘Saint’ in them.
