I have yet to see a most famous or most popular people list that makes sense. In what world is Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake more famous or more popular than Dolly Parton?

I like this series of quizzes. A suggestion is to perhaps drop the Representatives — there are so many for populous states and they change so frequently that it’s a pretty obscure list of names for most of them. (The Senators are fair game IMO, they can definitely stay.) Also, state tree/bird/mineral, etc might be a fun addition.

would u be willing to move the representatives to the end of the quiz? the ’10 Missed’ section for me is basically always a list of names, including for the state I live in (it’s big) that mean very little to me

Something is wrong with this quiz for Connecticut. The largest county by square miles is Litchfield and the most populous is Fairfield in terms of historical lines, but Connecticut doesn’t have administrative counties. It hasn’t since 1960. Also, I have no idea what this quiz means by “popular” for any of its questions. I get that both Katherine Hepburn, Glenn Close, and G.W. Bush were born in Connecticut, now that I know the answers, but President 43 would have been a better clue for GW. Which Hepburn would have been better for Katherine. And I got no clue for Close. Just saying Popular is a load of BS.

Also, we call ourselves the Nutmeg State and our chosen nickname is Nutmeggers. State Symbol/tree would have been cool. That’s the Charter Oak. State bird is robin. State flower is mountain laurel. Why didn’t we get those for questions?
