Due to the costs of the Google Maps API combined with 100’s of thousands of Google Maps quiz plays per month, I’ve had to implement the following schedule for playing them:
Premium Members:
hugequiz Premium members will be able to play all Google Maps-based quizzes at all times.
Non-Premium members:
EVERY WEEK, non-Premium members will be able to play all Google Maps quizzes in the Africa, Asia, North America (except US-only), Oceania, and South America categories.
EVERY WEEK, non-Premium members will be able to play any non-geography Google Maps quizzes, such as NCAA Division I Schools and Largest Europe Stadiums.
EVERY WEEK, non-Premium members will be able to play Google Maps Europe, US, and World quizzes based on non-city related content, such as 50 Largest Mediterranean Islands and US States.
The FIRST WEEK of each month (1st-7th of the month), non-Premium members will be able to play the Europe city-based and drawing Google Maps quizzes.
The SECOND WEEK of each month (8th-14th) non-Premium members will be able to play the US/World city-based and drawing Google Maps quizzes.
AFTER THE 14TH of each month only Premium members will be able to play Europe/US/World city-based and drawing Google Maps quizzes. Days begin at midnight US Central time.
A handful of quizzes that use Street View or Google Maps Directions will remain Premium-only at all times. Examples include Europe 20,000 Km Challenge (Premium Only) and US Google Street View State Streak Challenge (Premium Only).
