Blackout
MLB 2-Team Pitcher Blackout
The object of this game is to name players who played for both teams - the team in the column and the team in the cell - trying to name the player in each cell who had the most minimum total strikeouts among those two teams. For example, if the column is the Giants, and the cell is the Yankees, you are trying to name the player whose minimum strikeouts total among their career totals for both the Yankees and Giants is the highest. So you are basically trying to name the players who played the 'most' for both teams. A player with 1000 strikeouts for the Giants but only 10 for the Yankees is going to give a low score, however a player with 700 for the Giants and 450 for the Yankees will yield a good score (the minimum being 450 instead of 10).
You must enter full player names, just last names won't work on this quiz.
Object is to get the highest average score among all 25 squares - unfilled squares will count as 0 when the quiz is over.
Scores are given on a 1-100 scale, with 100 being the player with the most minimum points total among the two teams. If a player has multiple answers in the grid, only the highest score answer will fill in first, you can then name the player again if you'd like. This prevents getting a low score for another pair of teams when you were naming that player.
hugequiz Premium users will see the #1 player for each pair of teams when the quiz ends.

MLB All-Stars Batting Triplets Blackout
Upon clicking START you will be presented with a 5×5 grid of 25 MLB players who were an All-Star selection at least once and started their MLB career in 1970 or later.
The object of this quiz is to choose the top 3 in the given category for the players shown in the grid. When you begin you’ll be given 25 different players plus a category to name the top 3 in, which will display just above the grid. For example, if the category says ‘Top 3 Most Home Runs’ you are to click on the 3 players with the most career HR's. If it says ‘Top 3 Earliest 1st Season’ you are to click on the 3 players whose first year was the earliest. You can deselect the first or second player you chose on by re-clicking it, but when you choose the 3rd player they will be submitted, removed from the grid, and you will get a score from 0-100 based on how close your set of 3 comes to the optimum set of 3 (which will be shown as a ‘Rank’ on top out of the # of possible sets of 3 for the last choice). When you’ve answered all 8 sets of 3 leaving only 1 player the quiz is over. You get a 100 points bonus for completing the sets making for a total possible score of 2500.

MLB All-Stars Image Blackout
You get 5 minutes to identify as many MLB All-Stars as you can from their image. Upon clicking start, you will be given an All-Star's name on top of the table of 25 photos. Double-click on that player to choose them. If you guess correctly, it will add toward your total and that player will be removed and the players will shift with a new one being added in the bottom right. If you guess incorrectly, you are penalized 5 seconds and the player you click on is still removed and the players shift with a new one being added.
Note - a handful of player names will have their career span as the name matches that of another All-Star.

MLB Batters 10×10 Blackout
The object of this game is to fill all 100 squares in the grid by naming players who meet the qualifications listed across the top for the teams shown in the cells. You MUST enter full player names, last names won't cut it (makes it a bit too easy). This quiz only uses players with at least one hit for each franchise.
Stats along the top are only FOR THAT TEAM and FOR THE PLAYER'S CAREER (i.e. not an individual season, that player's entire career with that team). So if the top line has '50-99 HR' and the cell shows the Yankees you are looking for players who had 50-99 HR for the Yankees during their entire time with the Yankees. Positions such as '1B' and 'Catcher' refer to players who played that defensive position the most among all the positions they may have played.
Teams and stats are randomized each time quiz is loaded. Occasionally a cell may not have a qualifying answer in which case it will appear blank and be a gimme.
hugequiz Premium members will see missed answers in red. Missed answers will be the player with the most hits for that team who qualifies for that cell.

Minimums are higher as you go back to earlier years, so the quiz will be a little more recent-focused. MLB Teammates Hits Challenge
The object of this quiz is to list up to 16 total MLB players with the highest total career hits. You can name any player to start, however successive players must have been a teammate of the previously chosen player. Teammates means the two players both had a PA in the same game since 1901. You must enter full names, not just last names.
For example, you can start with 'Craig Biggio' and then name 'Jeff Bagwell' - then you can name any career teammate of Bagwell (except for Biggio), and so on, trying to accumulate the most total hits among all 16 players (or less if you run out of time).

Positions such as '1B' and 'Catcher' refer to players who played that defensive position the most among all the positions they may have played.

MLB Players By Team Image Blackout – Choose Team
First enter a team name to choose it. You will then be given a 5x5 grid of player photos who have been members of that team. They are both pitchers and batters, with a minimum of 100 K's for pitchers and 100 hits for batters for that team. Minimums are higher as you go back to earlier years, so the quiz will be a little more recent-focused. Name any player on the grid using their FULL NAME (otherwise it gets a little easy guessing common last names) and their image will be replaced with a different player and you will get credit for naming them. Try to complete as many players in 5 minutes as you can.
hugequiz Premium members will see the names of all players left on the grid when the quiz ends.

The object of this game is to fill all 25 squares in the grid by naming players who played the position across the top the most games for the team whose logo is shown in the cells from 1990-99. You MUST enter full player names, last names won't cut it (makes it a bit too easy). A game counts if the player played that position at least partially during the game (could've started at that position or not started for non-pitchers, pitchers are separated into starting and relief). Guessing the player with the most games at that position for that team will result in 100 points - points decrease from there based on the % of total games compared to the player with the most. SP = Starting Pitcher, RP = Relief Pitcher.
Naming a player who appears more than once in the grid will generate the highest scoring result first - you can then rename the player if you want and the next-highest score will display, and so on.
