So you are basically trying to name the players who played the 'most' for both teams. A player with 1000 hits for the Giants but only 10 for the Yankees is going to give a low score, however a player with 700 for the Giants and 450 for the Yankees will yield a good score (the minimum being 450 instead of 10).
