MLB All-Stars Batting Triplets Blackout
DirectionsUpon clicking START you will be presented with a 5×5 grid of 25 MLB players who were an All-Star selection at least once and started their MLB career in 1970 or later.
The object of this quiz is to choose the top 3 in the given category for the players shown in the grid. When you begin you’ll be given 25 different players plus a category to name the top 3 in, which will display just above the grid. For example, if the category says ‘Top 3 Most Home Runs’ you are to click on the 3 players with the most career HR’s. If it says ‘Top 3 Earliest 1st Season’ you are to click on the 3 players whose first year was the earliest. You can deselect the first or second player you chose on by re-clicking it, but when you choose the 3rd player they will be submitted, removed from the grid, and you will get a score from 0-100 based on how close your set of 3 comes to the optimum set of 3 (which will be shown as a ‘Rank’ on top out of the # of possible sets of 3 for the last choice). When you’ve answered all 8 sets of 3 leaving only 1 player the quiz is over. You get a 100 points bonus for completing the sets making for a total possible score of 2500.

How does most recent work if there’s more than 3? I had Conforto, Rendon, Kershaw, Story, and Heyward left, who all played in ’24. I think I picked Kershaw, Heyward and Rendon and got 96
Hmm I’ll take a look. It should count all the top ranked ones as 1st place and give 100 for them.
Same issue. I had four one-time All-Stars at the end, and got a score of 33 for that round.
What was the category for that round? Most ASG’s?
I’ve had the same from with most recent season. When there are more than 3 active players it seems to always give less than 100.
