World 50K+ Population Radius Coverage
DirectionsFirst choose a difficulty by typing ‘beg’, ‘int’, ‘adv, or ‘exp’. Then, enter 50K+ population cities and all 50K+ population cities within a radius based on the population of the city you guessed will fill in. When you have at least 160 countries, the countries remaining will be shown. In other words, a large city will have a bit larger radius to cover other cities than a smaller city would.
A higher difficulty level means smaller circles, but still in the same size proportion to each other based on populations.
hugequiz Premium members will see the 25 largest missed cities at the end of the quiz as large, purple markers.
Premium members also get the option to play a 3-hour (basically untimed) version of each level. Simply enter a ‘u’ before a level choice to play a 3-hour version, for example ‘ubeg’ or ‘uadv’ – your score will not be saved for these.
Expert mode
The amount of thinking I’ve done means that somehow I’d end up missing big cities. Plus I should really try to focus on one region
Spent hours on this quiz, used google maps and still couldn’t finish Canada, Russia, Brazil and China. France as well but I figured it’s a random overseas department. This quiz is tough man
Could you please do an untimed mode for premium members, because I would like to see how far I can get there. The actual time limit is very hard for completing the Quiz.
PS: This quiz variation is very nice!!
I’ve added that ability for Premium members for these population radius coverage quizzes – see the mention at the end of the directions now.
this is the most difficult of the coverage variations I’ve played so far. great stuff!
Another great concept!!
The inverse would be interesting too. Smaller cities = more coverage to reward you for more obscure answers.
The ‘population coverage’ quizzes do that.
Panama City and Mexico City completed with just the first word, but I had to fully type “Kuwait City” for that one to fill.
Mexico did not, there is another city named just Mexico.
ha yeah just realized and came back to say
