World City Word Scramble

Directions

Name the World city for each scrambled name shown. You get 30 seconds per city and 10 minutes total for 50 cities. Five levels of ten cities each with increasing length. You receive points based on word length and how quickly you answer. After 15 seconds the population and country will be shown. All World cities of 500K+ population are in this quiz and are chosen and shuffled randomly each time. There may be spaces in the city names that won’t be shown in the scrambled name. ‘Saint’ is abbreviated to ‘St’ in city names.

5-Letter Word Scramble Daily Challenge

Each day at midnight US Central Time, you'll get a new set of 5 unique letters. Your goal is to form as many valid words as possible (from the official Scrabble word list) using only those letters. You don't need to use all the letters, but no others are allowed.

Example (letters: abelp): valid words include peal, babble, bell, etc.

Longer words (8+ letters) earn time bonuses. Points are awarded by word length:

1-letter: 1 pt

2-letter: 2 pts

3-letter: 3 pts

4-letter: 4 pts

5-letter: 5 pts

6-letter: 7 pts

7-letter: 9 pts

8-letter: 12 pts

9-letter: 16 pts

10-letter: 20 pts

11-letter: 30 pts

12-letter: 40 pts

13-letter: 50 pts
