Words must have been used as nouns (occasionally an animal word can be another part of speech). I do realize some of these can be nouns referring to something other than the animal, but I couldn’t separate those out, so the overall usage as a noun is counted. Length of noun shown.

8-letter: 12 pts

9-letter: 16 pts

11-letter: 30 pts

12-letter: 40 pts
