UK Circle Radius Population Challenge

The object of this quiz is to adjust each circle's radius so it contains the target population shown at the right. When you click Start you will be shown a marker on a random UK output area (there are over 200K output areas - also called Data Zones in Scotland and N Ireland - across the UK, the smallest census tabulation area). Also you will see an adjustable circle of radius 100 km to start. I ended up cheating for 2 missing cities in Russia… so that I could finally finish this quiz! I can now try finishing it with less circles

In this case Wikipedia is actually more up to date.
If the quiz was about agglomerations, Porto would have over a million.

Why can i not give up whenever I want? It should be able to like on any other quiz, instead i have to wait until the timer is over.

it’s because you have to actually finish this quiz for a score to mean anything. finishing without covering all cities will give you a meaningless score because the object is to get the least number of circles.
