Europe Closest 100K+ City Random Location Challenge
DirectionsThe object of this quiz is to name to closest Europe 100K+ city to each purple marker that appears. When you begin the quiz you will be placed in a random location in Europe (max longitude 50 East, max latitude 60 North – might be over a body of water, but won’t be over an ocean) which will be denoted by a purple marker. Name the closest 100K+ Europe city to this marker by typing in the city name followed by a ‘.’ (period). You will then be given a score up to 100 (100 being the closest 100K+ city) based on how far away your city is in relation to how far away the closest one is. You get 25 cities for a maximum of 2500 points. If you name a city that has the same name as another possible answer, don’t worry – the closest city of that name will be chosen.

Thanks for this quiz. There seems to be a bug regarding the canaries. the marker was on one of the canary islands but “las palmas” and “santa cruz” didn’t work. I had to put a town in mainland Spain for it to work
Canaries aren’t counted – it’s only geographically Europe cities.
Yes that’s what I thought. But the purple dot was once on Gran Canaria island. If Canarian cities aren’t included, shouldn’t the purple dot also not be on them?
