MLB 1000+ Hits For A Single Team
MLB 2-Team Batter Blackout
The object of this game is to name players who played for both teams - the team in the column and the team in the cell - trying to name the player in each cell who had the most minimum total hits among those two teams. For example, if the column is the Giants, and the cell is the Yankees, you are trying to name the player whose minimum hits total among their career totals for both the Yankees and Giants is the highest. So you are basically trying to name the players who played the 'most' for both teams. A player with 1000 hits for the Giants but only 10 for the Yankees is going to give a low score, however a player with 700 for the Giants and 450 for the Yankees will yield a good score (the minimum being 450 instead of 10).
You must enter full player names, just last names won't work on this quiz.
Object is to get the highest average score among all 25 squares - unfilled squares will count as 0 when the quiz is over.
Scores are given on a 1-100 scale, with 100 being the player with the most minimum points total among the two teams. If a player has multiple answers in the grid, only the highest score answer will fill in first, you can then name the player again if you'd like. This prevents getting a low score for another pair of teams when you were naming that player.
hugequiz Premium users will see the #1 player for each pair of teams when the quiz ends.

You MUST enter full player names, last names won't cut it (makes it a bit too easy). This quiz only uses players with at least one hit for each franchise.

Positions such as '1B' and 'Catcher' refer to players who played that defensive position the most among all the positions they may have played.
Teams and stats are randomized each time quiz is loaded. Occasionally a cell may not have a qualifying answer in which case it will appear blank and be a gimme.

MLB Players By Team Image Blackout – Choose Team
First enter a team name to choose it. You will then be given a 5x5 grid of player photos who have been members of that team. They are both pitchers and batters, with a minimum of 100 K's for pitchers and 100 hits for batters for that team. Minimums are higher as you go back to earlier years, so the quiz will be a little more recent-focused. Name any player on the grid using their FULL NAME (otherwise it gets a little easy guessing common last names) and their image will be replaced with a different player and you will get credit for naming them. Try to complete as many players in 5 minutes as you can.
hugequiz Premium members will see the names of all players left on the grid when the quiz ends.

MLB Players Since 1980 By Baseball Reference Stats – Choose Team
First, choose a team by typing it in the guess box and choosing from the drop-down list. Only players who played at least 3 different seasons for that team will be included in the quiz. Also this quiz only includes players who began their career in 1980 or later.
The object of this quiz is to match a player to the Baseball Reference stats (either Standard Batting or Standard Pitching). You will be given 10 different stat tables, batting for non-pitchers and pitching for pitchers. Try to name the player. You get 10 minutes to complete all 10 players. Batters will have a minimum of 500 career hits, pitchers a minimum of 250 IP. You can scroll in the window with the stats if you can't see the full width of the table (the far-right column is 'Awards').
This quiz is only playable for Premium members.

MLB Positions By Team Blackout
The object of this game is to fill all 25 squares in the grid by naming players who played the position across the top the most games for the team whose logo is shown in the cells. You MUST enter full player names, last names won't cut it (makes it a bit too easy). A game counts if the player played that position at least partially during the game (could've started at that position or not started, including for pitchers). Guessing the player with the most games at that position for that team will result in 100 points - points decrease from there based on the % of total games compared to the player with the most.
PLEASE NOTE: Data only goes back thru 1901 season.
Naming a player who appears more than once in the grid will generate the highest scoring result first - you can then rename the player if you want and the next-highest score will display, and so on.

You must write the full team name as there are many duplicates for the nickname. Some city abbreviations such as 'KC', 'LA' and 'NY' are allowed. MLB Pitchers 10×10 Blackout
The object of this game is to fill all 100 squares in the grid by naming players who meet the qualifications listed across the top for the team whose logo is shown in the cells. You MUST enter full player names, last names won't cut it (makes it a bit too easy). This quiz only uses players with at least one batter faced for each franchise.
Stats along the top are only FOR THAT TEAM and FOR THE PLAYER'S CAREER (i.e. not an individual season, that player's entire career with that team). So if the top line has '500-999 K' and the cell shows the Yankees you are looking for players who had 500-999 K's for the Yankees during their entire time with the Yankees. For Cy Young and Reliever Of The Year, the player must have played for that team during the season they won that award.
Teams and stats are randomized each time quiz is loaded. Occasionally a cell may not have a qualifying answer in which case it will appear blank and be a gimme.
hugequiz Premium members will see missed answers in red. Missed answers will be the player with the most strikeouts for that team who qualifies for that cell.

MLB Positions By Team Blackout – 1970’s
The object of this game is to fill all 25 squares in the grid by naming players who played the position across the top the most games for the team whose logo is shown in the cells from 1970-79. You MUST enter full player names, last names won't cut it (makes it a bit too easy). A game counts if the player played that position at least partially during the game (could've started at that position or not started for non-pitchers, pitchers are separated into starting and relief). Guessing the player with the most games at that position for that team will result in 100 points - points decrease from there based on the % of total games compared to the player with the most. SP = Starting Pitcher, RP = Relief Pitcher.
Naming a player who appears more than once in the grid will generate the highest scoring result first - you can then rename the player if you want and the next-highest score will display, and so on.
Teams and positions are randomized each time quiz is loaded.

For example, if the team is the Yankees and the stat is 'HR' - you can name 'Babe Ruth' as he is in the top 3 for all-time HR's for the Yankees.
Teams and stats are randomized each time quiz is loaded.
Cells with two answers left will have a very dark green background, those with one answer left more of an evergreen shade, and finally bright green for those which have been completed.
hugequiz Premium members will see missed answers in red. Missed answers will be the player with the highest number (or lowest for ERA) for that stat for that team. Only one missed answer per cell will be shown.
The object of this game is to fill all 25 squares in the grid by naming players who had the top 3 career highest of each stat (or lowest in the case of ERA) in the column for each team in the cell. You MUST enter full player names, last names won't cut it (makes it a bit too easy). For example, if the team is the Yankees and the stat is 'HR' - you can name 'Babe Ruth' as he is in the top 3 for all-time HR's for the Yankees.

MLB Team Rosters – Choose Team & Year
First type in any current MLB franchise to choose both the franchise and the season. Then, name all of the players who played in a game for that team during that season. Sorted by most games. Position shown is primary position played during that season. Players who both pitched and batted will have the one with which they did the most games be listed for them (i.e. Ohtani will be listed as a DH with the number of games he batted in, however players who were primarily pitched but would bat occasionally will be listed as pitchers). So each player will only be listed once for each team/season.

MLB Teams By Stadium Image From Space
Name each MLB team based on the photo of their stadium from space. You are naming the team, not the stadium. Either the nickname or city is accepted except for cities in which there is more than one team, in which case either just nickname or full name (city + nickname) is accepted. The faster you answer, the more points you get. I have edited out any visible features which may give the answer away (such as a team logo or stadium name).

NAMING NOTE: You can enter either the full name or nickname to answer - just the location will not work. To enter the Reds type 'Reds.' with the period (or 'Cincinnati Reds' works) as you need to type Reds to enter Red Sox.
