DirectionsName the top movie (US domestic gross) by box office weekend since 1960. First three words acceptable for longer titles. Sequels will fill in if the first movie of the series is named ONLY IF the sequel names are similar to the first movie in the series.

wow that’s a lot of work. thanks for it! I saw some others too – couldn’t figure out how to get pirates of the Caribbean, put “the” which seemed to work with others same with raiders of the lost ark, couldn’t get that with or without “the”. hunger games worked without the though. i would say that some movies seem to be missing, but can’t say since they may have not been #1. was tencommandments not one? just some other things like that. lots of fun though.
Like the quiz, but the answering criteria needs work. Says sequels will fill in if 1st movie named but it doesn’t work for all. “Dr. No” doesn’t give you all James Bond movies. Indiana Jones gives you all but the first movie is “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” “Chrismas Vacation” doesn’t give you “European Vacation.” There are several others. “Batman” gives you the 1990s series and the “Dark Knight” series but not “Batman v Superman” “Superman” doesn’t give you “Superman Returns’ or “Man of Steel.” Also, some movies only need the 1st two words instead of three.
I’ll fix a couple but yeah, if the title of sequels is substantially different (i.e. Bond Movies), you’ll need to know all those titles, not just the first one. I’ll add a note in the description.
